Are you looking for next role to be working as part of a team of vets in a larger branch but also have the freedom to work some sole charge to build up your own caseload in a smaller stand-alone branch? These are two unique roles working as part of a team of 3 vets based at our Uxbridge branch practice which is the local hub for our smaller branch in the lovely village of Ickenham 3 miles away (15 minutes by car).

Our Uxbridge branch has been at this location for many years and is extremely popular within the local community. Situated in a residential conservation area close to the town centre. With excellent transport links with the M25/M40 and Heathrow Airport a short distance away plus regular tube services into central London.
Ideally this is a full time ( average 43 hour week) position including 1 in 3 Saturdays. You will be working 1:3 weeks sole charge at our Ickenham branch and the rest of your time spent at Uxbridge working with another vet colleague. You will have the support of a senior lead vet based at the Uxbridge practice and a friendly and dedicated support team giving you plenty of opportunity for case discussion.

The salary for this position is £50,000 – £60,000 per annum depending on experience. There is no overnight work or on call. We would love you to support our hospital colleagues at our RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital in Northolt on a 1:8 Sunday day- time only rota and 2 bank holidays per year. The Mandeville Hospital has great 24 hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills.

Can you manage your time, prioritise well and do you enjoy getting the job done but also relish having a life outside of work? We have all the usual toys in order to work your cases up to a high standard, including dental x-ray and ultrasound.

In addition, we offer up to a generous CPD allowance and up to 5 CPD days per annum (benefits pro-rata for part-time roles). We see CPD as an investment in the individual, as well as for the practice, and are keen to support study for certificate qualifications.
