The Role

Dyffryn Tywi Equine Clinic are looking for an equine vet, we undertake all routine and emergency ambulatory equine work. From routine vaccinations, lameness assessments, castrations, stud work, right up to emergency surgery's. We have full onsite operating facilities and an experienced team to assist.

We offer a varied case load where no two days at the same, 2/3 days a week are out and about meeting clients with set days in clinic. We are a very supportive and friendly practice.

Successful Candidate

We are looking for someone who has a passion for all things equine, we are a practice of horse lovers. We would love to hear from someone who wants to continue to develop their equine knowledge, CPD actively encouraged and paid for! 

You should have good working knowledge of horses and handling experience. Experience of stud work would be an advantage, but not essential. We ideally want someone who is either experienced or willing to learn.

The Package

• We offer a 4 day week, with 1:4 nights and a weekend out-of-hours on call rota
• We offer 25 days plus all bank holidays for vets (based on a 4 day week) - works out at 33 days
• Salary range of £35,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
• Signing bonus

• Membership fee’s paid, plus CPD allowance, CPD actively encouraged
• Friendly, experienced senior team to provide ongoing support/training
• Full office backup from our team of lovely receptionist and practice manager
