Are you a Vet with an interest in Emergency & Critical Care and looking for the next step in your career into a Lead Vet role? Would you like access to an interesting caseload? Would you like to work 7 nights on and then have 14 nights off? Salary up to £65k pro rata DOE.

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and caring Small Animal Vet to take on an OOH Lead Vet position at our new, coming soon, MiNightVet clinic in Omagh, County Tyrone.

Our new MiNightVet service will further complement our fantastic day team within Campsie Veterinary Centre, as well as help provide the out of hours service for a number of local first opinion member practices in the area. Working from a modern Hospital facility, designed for providing a high standard of care, you will enjoy working alongside an experienced team.

This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years' experience, who is capable and confident of working sole charge and leading a small clinical team, with the support of a Lead Nurse. You will have surgical experience in routine and emergency procedures and possess good communication skills. You will have a team player mentality and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service. As our Lead Vet, you will be responsible for the clinical performance of our team, along with rota management and relationship management with our member practices.

  • An average of 10 nights per month working on a 7 nights on, 14 nights off basis with 1:6 Saturday & Sunday (days) and 2 Bank Holidays per year
