The Role

Here at Highertown Vets, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. You will become a member of our very experienced veterinary team, providing a superb standard of care to our many lovely patients and clients.

We can be very flexible with the number of days you will work each week. Usually, it would be 4 days per week working between 15-30 hours. There will be 1 in 4 Saturday mornings included. There is no out of hours with this role.

The salary will be up to £55,000 depending on experience.

You will be the fourth member of our Veterinary Surgeon team. We have 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. One of our Vets is a Cert SAM holder, and we also benefit from regular visits by a Cert AVP SA Cardiologist.

Applicant Requirements

We would be looking for a qualified and, ideally, experienced Veterinary Surgeon, however, a confident and competent new graduate could be considered. An interest in Diagnostic Imaging would be desirable.
