Job Details

North Ascot is a small friendly clinic close to Windsor and Bracknell with a lovely client base. We opened four years ago, the practice is steadily growing and we have a varied workload of routine and non-routine consults and procedures. The team consists of an experienced RVN and our lovely patient care assistant, who are both dedicated to their clients and patients.

We would like you to be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard, and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.

This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a sole charge environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.

We do also have easy access to our other nearby practices that specialise in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, exotics and ophthalmology.

This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career and establish yourself as a Lead Vet whilst working in a supportive network and growing your client base.  Please see the video link to take a look around our practice.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary up to 67K
  • £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
  • VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
  • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Certificate sponsorship is also available, allowing you to pursue a specific area of veterinary care and further your expertise.

The position is 4 days per week, 9am-7pm, plus 1 in 3 half weekends or 1 in 6 full weekends at our Wokingham 24 Hour practice.

Joining our national network of veterinary surgeons at Medivet, offers exceptional opportunities for career development while enjoying a very competitive salary package. We’ll also look after you with a company vehicle and accommodation allowances. A generous CPD allowance is also designed to drive your progress, balanced by 5 weeks annual holiday allowance (FTE).
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
