About Us

We are a single-site practice on the outskirts of Southampton, this is on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park and close to the water sports of the Solent. Train and airport links are excellent. Our practice was set up by Chris Carter in 1982, and we still employ members of his team. Added to these experienced staff members, we have a very supportive team of nurses, all of whom have trained at the surgery, and remained with us.

Our team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, with a New Graduate due to start soon, 7 RVNs, 1 second year student and 1 due to start in September, 2 Part-time Receptionist, and a Practice Manager. Within the team, we have a Vet with a certificate in Surgery and a Nurse with an interest in Behaviour.  Once a week a Vet and Nurse are supplied to the Blue Cross to operate at their premises.  We would like you to fit seamlessly into our busy, friendly team, continuing the great leadership we have had in the past and driving us forward into this new post covid world. You need to have a good sense of humour and an excellent work ethic.
