Company

Our Hungerford practice was established in 1976 by Pip Pocock, the original owner of the surgery, who remains well known in the local community today. The grand opening of the hospital, in 1995, was attended by local Grand National winning celebrities Bob Champion and Aldaniti, adding considerable extra excitement to the day!

Since then the Hungerford Hospital has gone from strength to strength. We were extremely proud to be one of the first veterinary hospitals in the country to receive RCVS accreditation and have maintained this status for nearly 20 years. Every aspect of the practice is inspected every four years, including hygiene, equipment, staff training and client communication, to ensure our standards never drop.

Our current Hospital Director and principal vet, Jonny Green, joined The Veterinary Hospital in 1997 and became a partner in the practice along with Pip. When Pip retired thirteen years later, Jonny took over the management of the surgery and still runs the practice today.
