About Us

We are a long-established, small animal practice in a semi-rural setting very close to the historic market town of Newark. We have built up a large loyal client base over the past 30 years and focus on giving the highest patient and client care possible. You will be joining an experienced team with post graduate qualifications in our well-equipped practice including a digital x-ray machine, ultrasound machine, and Idexx lab facilities.

As a team we are very supportive and have a great working environment, we are an RCVS accredited training practice. When possible, we enjoy the times we can get together for social events.

A good work life balance to us is very important and we are lucky to live in a very picturesque, historic market town but within close proximity to many cities such as Nottingham and Lincoln. The town is surrounded by lots of beautiful countryside to enjoy outdoor activities in your spare time, as well as many heritage attractions for sightseeing and a busy centre for the shoppers among us.

If you were looking to relocate to the area, we offer an additional relocation bonus which can be discussed with our talent partner.

About the Team and Culture

We are a small but friendly team, and we offer a supportive experienced team that will always be on hand to help. Case continuity is highly encouraged, as is continuous professional development. We provide a supportive and friendly environment where our members of staff are highly appreciated and respected. We have loyal and friendly clients that have been with us for a long time.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who ideally has some post graduate experience. You will need to have the ability to make decisions, have good interpersonal skills, and a compassionate nature. There will be some occasions when sole charge will be required but we have a supportive, experienced team that will always be on hand to help.
