Veterinary Surgeon

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part time Veterinary Surgeon wishing to join our wonderful team at our Wotton-under-Practice. Working 2 days per week on a Tuesday and Wednesday, with a dedicated ops day each week. 

You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team with access to excellent facilities including digital X-Ray and dental X-ray, MRI, blood pressure monitoring, ultrasound, and more. We are looking for someone who strives for clinical excellence, is committed to client and patient care, has a passion to do things right clinically and importantly is a great team player.

You will be working in an enriching environment where you will use your clinical skills to provide a high standard patient care to a wide variety of cases.

You will work alongside our two full time Veterinary Surgeons, one who has completed their certificate in small animal Medicine with a particular interest in Ultrasound, he also heads up the Radioactive Iodine unit and is looking for someone else with a passion for Feline Medicine to develop this service. Our other Veterinary Surgeon has also started their certificate in small animal medicine. The practice has a dedicated Head Nurse, another 2 RVN’s, a Student RVN and a dedicated team of Care Assistants. 

The team at Rowe Veterinary Group are an experienced large team of Veterinary Surgeons with many of the team holding certificates in Medicine, Surgery and Cardiology. We are looking for someone to join us on a part time basis working two days per week. You will have a dedicated operating day each week where you will not consult until 4PM, if consult only is more your preference we can accommodate this for you. You will participate in our weekend rota, where you will get to see true ECC cases, working alongside 2 other vets on a Saturday and Sunday on a 1:8 pattern.

In return you can expect a competitive salary commensurate with experience, generous CPD allowance, paid memberships and discounts and rewards. The full-time equivalent salary for this role will be up to £55,000 dependent on experience, based on an average weekly working hours of 18.6.
