About Us

We are a 100% small animal independent practice situated in a beautiful part of Devon, with easy access to Dartmoor, the coast and Exeter City.  We are a growing practice with an additional branch surgery opened in Spring 2020 with a lovely friendly team of vets, nurses, student nurses and receptionists who work well together.  We strive for excellence and believe in working closely with our clients, offering informed choices and an excellent level of care for their pets.  All the vets discuss cases regularly working well as a team but have plenty of clinical freedom and case continuity.  New graduates will be well supported by our experienced vets.

The Role

We are looking for a vet who wants to be a good general practitioner, who enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery.  We have an interesting and very varied case load meaning the right candidate will gain valuable experience, as you will get to see and do many exciting things.  We pride ourselves on building a lasting vet-pet-client relationship and will help our clients make the best choice available to them.  We believe you will become a great diagnostician if you join our practice.   We do require our vets to work a 1 in 8 on call rota including weekends.   There are days off in lieu of weekends working ensuring you enjoy a good work life balance.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who believes in our ethos of offering excellent veterinary care to everyone, irrespective of their means.  We believe that every pet deserves veterinary care and that it can be achieved through good client communication and giving people choice.

The Package

• £1000 CPD allowance including 5 days
• 20 days leave plus bank holidays

Location

Kingsteignton, Devon & Kenton, Devon. Our main branch is situated within a small industrial estate in Kingsteignton just outside the market town of Newton Abbot.  Our Smaller branch surgery is situated in the grounds of Powderham Castle, Kenton, Devon.
