The amazing team at Medivet Hemel Hempstead Risedale Road are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them. 

Medivet Risedale is a friendly, happy clinic where all staff work together towards the goal of providing the best possible care for all their patients.

The clinic is well equipped and the team perform their own diagnostic imaging and orthopaedic surgery. Nicola and Kyumi known by all as excellent mentors, so this would be a great opportunity for a vet to grow and develop. A positive attitude, good sense of humour and great communication skills are a must.

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 

Full time salary package up to £57,369 per annum depending on experience to include:

• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays

Branch:

We are seeking an additional vet to join our two Branch Partners, Nicola and Kyumi. They are supported by our fantastic nursing team made up of our Head Nurse, RVN and SVN. 

The clinic is well situated to our Watford 24-Hour Hospital, here you have access to a fully equipped theatre, CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, orthopaedic and spinal surgery services, as well as 24 hour care for your patients managed by a dedicated night team. 

If there is anything you need support with you can go along to Watford and work alongside our experienced hospital vets.

Pablo has his cert in Diagnostic Imaging and Andrea has his PG Cert in Small Animal Surgery and Advanced PG Cert in Orthopaedic Surgery. Many of our vets will book ops in with Andrea until their confident enough to do without support. Our surrounding branches also benefit from CT assisted procedures, which they find really helpful for ops planning.
