Applicants should be competent and confident in surgery and medicine, and excel in communication. To be motivated and a passionate team player. A personable and friendly attitude, and strong client focus a must.
Acquisition of further qualifications is highly supported and encouraged. Candidates with specialist skills will be an advantage. An ability to nurture our interns would be a bonus.

About Us

The Role

Long established, independent, Tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital in Blackmore, with two modern branches in Billericay and Writtle. This role offers exposure to a diverse case load, giving opportunity to expand your clinical skills within fantastic diagnostic, hospitalisation and surgical facilities with all the latest veterinary equipment and technology. Equipment including, ASIF, ultrasound, DR radiography, dental radiography, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and in-house laboratory within a recently built hospital help to ensure job satisfaction. An ability to nurture our interns would be a bonus

Successful Candidate

We are seeking a confident, experienced individual to join our friendly, enthusiastic and skilled clinical teams. The mental and physical well-being of our teams is paramount and we provide a supportive environment which empowers clinicians to work up their own cases to a high standard who wants the opportunity to use or develop their own area of expertise. The Package

• 31.5 days holiday (plus long service bonus)
• £1,500 & 5 days CPD allowance, plus certificate funding
• 4 day week
• 2/8 Saturday morning only
• 1/14 weeknight and 1/8 weekend out-of-hours rota
• Out-of-hours bonus
• VDS and RCVS fees paid
• Acquisition of further qualifications is highly supported and encouraged.

Location: House and Jackson Veterinary Hospital is based in the hamlet of Blackmore, Ingatestone in the countryside of Essex, South East of England.

The city of Chelmsford is 10-minute drive away, with shopping, lively entertainment and rail links to heart of London in just 30 minutes. Stansted and Southend airports are within 30 minutes, with Dover ferry port only an hour away. Excellent road links to Cambridge and M25 and London. So, an excellent location with both busy town life and lovely quiet rural aspects of Essex.
