Skills and experience:

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of clinical experience, will be confident in surgery as well as medicine, and will be willing to lead by example while providing the support and guidance necessary to the other 2 vets in the practice. The candidate will be willing to work alongside our 24h centres to provide the best care for their hospitalized patients and the ones undergoing complex procedures in the hospital.

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working in sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically, such as good communication skills, mediation experience, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

The Branch is located in Borehamwood's main street with lots of shops and restaurants around. In this branch, you will join a well-established team of 2 other amazing vets, an experienced head nurse, and three other lovely members of support staff who are willing to push this practice to the next level. Borehamwood is a practice that has been having a lot of success recently.
