In-patient care is a priority and includes 24-hour veterinary and nursing cover, with support from a team of emergency vets and Interns. Our hospital facilities are of the highest quality, including on-site Siemens 64-slice CT, Siemens 1.5T MRI, two in-theatre mobile image intensifiers, two digital radiography rooms, ultrasonography, and elelectrodiagnostic, video endoscopy, and an extensive range of advanced surgical equipment.

 

Your role and responsibilities

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Primary Care team in our stunning, purpose-built state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital located in Solihull.

 

  • Salary up to £55,000 D.O.E. (FTE)
  • 2/3 days a week (8 am. to 6 pm)
  • 1 Saturday in 5
  • No OOH or Night work

This is a part-time position during the week; there is also a Saturday clinic which is shared equally between the primary care team members. The successful applicant will have at least two years of post-graduate experience in small animal practice in the UK, and share our values of providing the best possible levels of care for our first-opinion patients and their owners. A postgraduate certificate would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will work alongside four other highly experienced Primary Care Veterinary Surgeons and two Primary Care Consulting Nurses. We have an excellent team of support staff who allow our clinicians to concentrate on their clinical caseload and to work in a pleasant, supportive, and good-humored atmosphere.

Centrally located, Willows is within easy reach of Birmingham, Birmingham International Airport, London, and the national rail and motorway networks, and only a short drive away from historic Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, and the beautiful Warwickshire and Oxfordshire countryside.
