Company

At Grove Lodge Vets, we are very proud of our high levels of expertise, care and equipment.

We are extremely fortunate to have a number of vets who specialise or have a special interest in many different areas of veterinary medicine and we have RCVS Certificate holders or Diploma holders, in Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dermatology and Diagnostic Imaging, meaning that most illnesses or surgical conditions can be treated within our practice without the need to travel elsewhere.

We have separate cat and dog wards at our veterinary hospital in Worthing as well as a dedicated ward for isolating infectious patients.

At Grove Lodge Vets, we understand it can be very stressful to be parted from your poorly pet, so we telephone or text you regularly to keep you updated on your pet's progress.

We have the most up to date equipment for monitoring anaesthetics and all patients have oxygen and carbon dioxide levels monitored at all times by a qualified nurse during anaesthesia for even the most routine procedures. Those undergoing more complex procedures or older/sicker animals will have pre-operative blood tests, intravenous fluids and multi parameter monitoring as well as warm air beds and ventilation if necessary.

All of our vets and nurses regularly undertake further studies to make sure that they are up to date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine.
