You will be joining our network of Central London first opinion branches which are currently experiencing an increased number of patients and a widening caseload. Investment plans are currently being finalised so exciting times ahead at Highbury. 

If you would enjoy a regular work routine until at least the end of 2022, or wish to combine a work/life balance with a part time role that would also provide all the benefits an organisation could offer then a fixed term contract at our Highbury branch could be your answer.  

We are looking for a vet to work between 22 to 42 hours per week depending on your own circumstances including a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.  We are always keen to embrace flexible working, and there is the opportunity to agree the days worked to fit in with your other commitments; there is no night or on call work requirements. 

​The successful candidate will be a vet who can manage their time and prioritise well. Confidence in routine surgery and working up medical cases will be your passion and you will enjoy working as part of a team with another part time vet to share the workload, You will need a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, putting their pet’s health at the centre of every decision.  You will also have support from our own Wanstead hospital on more complex cases.

Highbury is located in a London ‘village’ environment with proximity to fashionable Islington and East London.

​The salary is in the region of £30-60k depending on experience and hours of work. In addition, we offer a generous CPD allowance plus up to 5 days CPD attendance per annum. The Goddard Veterinary Group sees CPD as an investment in the individual, as well as for the practice, and is keen to support study for certificate qualifications.
