The role:

A new exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced vets who are looking for a good work-life balance!

We are looking for two Vets to complete our team in Medivet Birstall 24h hospital, who would work 7 days on 21 days off pattern. We are open to other options for flexible working.

This part-time rota allows a fantastic work-life balance, and the two-week block ‘off’ allows our vets to pursue other opportunities if they wish – such as further study, a different aspect of clinical practice, diversification into a different field, or having a good balance between work and family/leisure time. The position is also well suited to someone that wishes to live abroad and travel once a month for work.

There is a very interesting and varied caseload, ideal for a certificate holder or someone wanting to, or currently studying towards a post-graduate certificate. Certificate study is fully supported.

The hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray, high-quality ultrasound, and laparoscopic equipment, There are separate cat and dog wards and the ability to perform high-quality medicine and care for critical patients.

The day team is supported by a lovely team of nurses and receptionists.

The ideal candidate will be confident both medically and surgically and have great communication skills.

VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees covered, alongside CPD, are part of a generous package for the right candidates!
