Veterinary Surgeon

Emergency and Critical Care Vets required for hospitals in  Surbiton and Battersea.

Our practices are expanding and with new sites planned we are recruiting ahead.

We are looking for Veterinary Surgeons who have an interest or certificate in Emergency and Critical care to join us at our Surbiton hospital or our Battersea clinic. You will utilise and develop your skills to work up your cases and make a real difference to challenging emergencies, with support in easy reach from our team. There is a great variety of cases our patients stay with us until they are better so you will enjoy case continuity.  You will work closely with our referral team to ensure our patients have gold standard healthcare without the need to travel for external referral. This will also support and guide your clinical development.

You may be new to emergency work or might want to work towards a certificate, a senior vet role or just improve your all-round skills in a structured manner. You may have experience and be ready to lead a team. Whatever your aims, we will work with you to develop a pathway that’s individual and provide regular feedback. A combination of internal and external training will set you up for success.

Ideally, you should enjoy the client side of the role and have a friendly and warm communication style. You would describe yourself as a positive person who enjoys working collaboratively as a part of a team. 

Work life balance can be achieved by allowing a degree of flexible working and adaptable shift patterns. Let us know what works for you. Our current rota system offers a mixture of day and night shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am) at Surbiton. Our Battersea branch will start with night only roles.
