We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team in Boston, either full or part-time.

This role would suit a veterinary surgeon who is at least 1 year qualified and who is comfortable with routine consultations, surgeries, and the occasional sole charge. You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS to apply for this position. Funded certificate and branch partnership opportunities would be available for the right candidate.

This is a permanent full or part-time role, working 4 days per week plus 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full. Flexible working patterns will be considered.

Salary package of up to £57,369 PA Including:

  • - Accommodation allowance

We can support certificates of sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK. With current Covid19 regulations, we will offer relocation and quarantine support for entering the UK.

Skills and experience:

  • - Medical competence (to the level required by the specific role, including clinical 
    examinations, lifting and moving animals, diagnosing disease, and prescription 
    and handling of drugs)
  • - Surgical competence (to the level required by specific role)
  • - Sole Charge experience
  • - UK small animal practice experience
  • - Familiarity and compliance with relevant legislation
  • - Demonstrable ability to work in a team / lead a team

Branch:

Our Boston branch is spacious, having three consult rooms, a prep area, a surgical room, laboratory equipment, an imaging suite, and a staff room. There is ample on-site parking and accommodation above the practice if required.

Boston is a small port and market town in Lincolnshire with an incredibly rich and significant history, it is close to the coast, and the beautiful Lincolnshire wolds with good links to Lincoln city.
