The role:

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us in a mobile role, supporting practices in Islington, Stoke Newington, Stroud Green, and St John's Wood. 

Our mobile RVNs play a key part across our teams, proving crucial clinical support while allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals! 

As an experienced RVN, you can even help shape the next generation as a Clinical Coach, using your knowledge and skills to help train and support nurses of the future!

Salary and hours:

  • - Salary £30,000 per annum
  • - £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave
  • - RCVS, VDS, and BVNA membership fees
  • - 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday
  • - 40 hours a week with 1:4 weekends with TOIL
  • - Fair share of bank holiday duties and minimal on-call

Key accountabilities:

In this role you’ll work closely with our teams in practice, performing essential nursing duties and ensuring pets have everything they need.

As well as administering treatments, performing diagnostic tests and assisting with surgeries, you’ll also run our popular nurse clinics, offering essential advice to clients on all aspects of pet care, from dental care to weight management.

Branch:

This role will work between 4 of our fantastic clinics in North London. 

We are very much like a family who support each other and pull together. We have a wide range of knowledge across our dedicated teams and believe sharing opinions and ideas and regular meetings to discuss cases, outcomes and problems promote openness, teamwork, and a healthy working environment.

All branches feed into our 24-Hour Hospital in Kensington where all out-of-hours care is managed by our dedicated night team and patients can be hospitalised. 

Islington Liverpool Rd

Islington has a well-equipped practice including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as a full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy. You'll be working within a fantastic team made up of 3 Vets, Head Nurse, 2 RVNs, SVN, 3 PCAs, an Office Manager, and a Reception team

Stroud Green 

Stroud Green is situated a short walk away from Finsbury Park Tube. Here, you'll be working within a great team made up of 1 Vet, HVN, SVN, and two PCAs. 

St John's Wood 

A newly built, state-of-the-art veterinary practice based in the beautiful St John's Wood! This is a 1-vet practice with a nursing team made up of our HVN and two PCAs. Here we offer endoscopy, ultrasounds, and keyhole surgery. 

Stoke Newington 

Stoke Newington's team is made up of our Lead Vet, Head Nurse, SVN, VCA, and Receptionist. We are active in the local community and have a fantastic client base and see many puppies, young cats, and kittens! The clinic is equipped with both digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, and full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, and diathermy.
