The Role
Small Animal Graduate Veterinary Surgeon position based in East Anglia.
40 hours per week over 4 days working between 8:30am to 8pm. 1/8 Saturday mornings allowing for a great work/life balance.
About Us
Penrose Veterinary Group is a friendly and supportive 1st opinion practice based in Colchester who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet. The main surgery is situated in Colchester, and they also have a branch surgery in the Suffolk village of Stratford St Mary. Both of the surgeries are well equipped with modern and high-tech equipment including Class IV laser, echocardiography, digital x-ray and tonometry. They have recently invested in a cat only waiting area and consulting room.
About the Team and Culture
Penrose Veterinary Group are a wonderful team made up of 11 Vets and 9 Nurses with certificate holders within the team. The team will provide a caring, thoughtful, and supportive environment for an effective introduction to the sector and although they value and will support specialisation, they equally see progression into practice leadership as a key contribution to the management of the practice.
They have wonderful communication in the practice such as regular team and practice meetings for staff updates as well as great wellbeing initiatives including Formal and informal team events and meetings. The practice also supports their local animal welfare charities.

We are looking for a new Graduate Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to register with the RCVS.
