About Us
We are a reputable, small animal veterinary hospital based in the royal town of Windsor. We are located close to the M25, M3 & M4 and have excellent transport links to London and Heathrow. Windsor is a beautiful town, combining gorgeous countryside and a vibrant town centre all in one location. Our facilities have been recently refurbished and we are well equipped with all the usual toys including a fully equipped laboratory, brand new x-ray machine, dental x-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopes, a bronchoscope, videoscope, ultrasound, dental suite, separate cat and dog wards, a cat waiting room and much more.
Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what the team have to say about working at Alma:
“I have enjoyed working at Alma for over 30 years as partner, clinical director, and now a more part-time role of senior veterinary surgeon. We have a very well-equipped surgery with a great team of experienced vets and nurses.” Paul – Vet
“I love working at Alma, the team are friendly and supportive. As vets we get the freedom to work up our cases in the best way possible. We have great equipment and facilities that enable us to provide gold standard care to our patients and clients. Being a surgical certificate holder, I am regularly given the opportunity to perform more advanced surgical procedures and be able to provide the best possible after care.” Tiago – Vet
Applicant Requirements
Our ideal applicant would be an experienced all-round veterinary surgeon. A specialist area/ certificate would be very appealing to our team; however, we do have a great team of experienced vets and would be open to a lesser experienced veterinary surgeon that is looking to develop their skills and gain experience in a hospital environment. Our team strives to provide gold standard veterinary care to their patients and clients, so we would be looking for a surgeon with the same work ethic to fit in with our team.
