An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join us and work alongside our existing management here at Rosehill Veterinary Clinic. This will be a varied role, perfect for a vet who is wanting to use their experience to expand their career! Responsibilities will include clinical work, with surgery and consultations, as well as an element of employee mentoring and director duties.
Rota and Salary
We care about the well-being of our team and are happy to accept both full/part-time applications to suit you. Full-time shifts are usually 40 hours per week, across 4 days, 8:30am to 7 pm, with a share of 1:4 Saturdays. There is no out of hours requirement. We offer a competitive salary depending on experience.
Rosehill is situated close to the vibrant Plymouth city centre, close to Dartmoor, with great beaches that are easily accessible within a 20–30-minute drive. Our RCVS accredited, first-opinion practice is modern, having been recently refurbished to a high standard and we are well equipped with 4 consulting rooms, an operating theatre, a large prep room, a dental suite, and an imaging room!
About our Team and Culture
By far the best part of our practice is our close-knit team. We have many longstanding employees, (one has been with us for 36 years!), and we pride ourselves on our supportive teamwork and can-do attitude as this is what helps to deliver that excellent standard of care to our patients. We are also an approved Nurse Training practice and are devoted to the development of our staff and strongly encourage case discussions. The team is made up of 7 vets who work on a rota of 4 per day (with sole charge on Saturday mornings) they are well supported by our fabulous nursing team of 6 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses and 2 animal nursing assistants. We also have an excellent support function of 5 receptionists and a practice manager.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident vet who is looking to take the next step in their career. Previous leadership experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training and support will be given.
