About Us

Our Widnes practice is modern and well-equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray & ultrasound, BP monitoring, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, in-house biochem, and a haem analyser. We are based in a great location, with ample parking and great places to grab lunch! Widnes is currently a 3-vet practice with 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant and 4 Client Care Coordinators.

We are dedicated to working up cases to a high standard, and we pride ourselves on making strong clinical recommendations. We work closely with our St. Helen’s team, so have the combination of our staff knowledge and expertise, alongside our other local White Cross Sites. Case discussions are strongly encouraged, and all our vets enjoy the support of one another. We are very keen to encourage our team’s personal growth with Certificates and CPD, and we are looking to expand the team in the future.

We are passionate about ensuring the happiness of our staff and take our well-being afternoons very seriously, with time blocked off the diary to relax together and have a bit of fun. We also get two Wellbeing days per year, and we like to ensure our staff use these to enjoy some time away from work.
