Fareham Creek Veterinary Surgery is a long established, thriving and proudly independent small animal practice on the South Coast. We are a small, friendly and client focused practice setting high standards of care for our patients. The surgery is an RCVS accredited General Practice and nurse training practice.
Our Vets work closely together with a good support network from colleagues and support staff. We are looking for a vet who is progressive, prides themselves on team work and high standards of care but who enjoys a relaxed working environment. Our staff retention is very high at the practice, many of our staff have worked for us for many years.
CPD is encouraged and funded. There is no on call.
The role is 5 days a week plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings but a flexible working pattern for any prospective candidate will be considered. Candidates with any amount of experience are welcome to apply. We have a supportive environment for all staff and very happy to receive applications from new graduates. We have staff members who are trained VetGDP advisors.
Salary range £35-65k depending on experience.
The practice has all the usual diagnostic tools; radiography, ultrasound, endoscopes, blood machines, faecal testing, microscopy.
Privately owned and operated by Peter Heather for the last 20 years, the practice has flexibility to adapt quickly and efficiently to new ideas and challenges as they arise, buy new kit when it’s needed. Input from staff is welcomed to progress the practice.
