The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and loyal team in the market town of Newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire. We can offer a consult-only option for this role. 

We are looking for our next vet to join our wonderful team. The role consists of three days at Newcastle under Lyme and one day at our Stoke practice, all 9 am-7 pm. Saturdays are a 1:3 rota at Newcastle.

You will be well supported by our 3 experienced vets already at Newcastle, as well as by our wider network of branches, hospitals, and clinicians.

Salary & Benefits:

• - Salary package up to £63,000 dependent on experience
• - £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
• - VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• - A four day week plus 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

Newcastle Under Lyme practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a fully supportive team that enjoys lots of laughs and is dedicated to its clients and patients. We have a well-planned layout including a large reception area, two vet consulting rooms, a nurse consulting room, prep and theatre, digital x-ray and ultrasound, well-equipped wards, and lab facilities. Our team will be happy to welcome you to their world and share their enthusiasm. 

Newcastle Under Lyme and the surrounding areas boast many varied and interesting pursuits including Waterworld, pottery museums, Trentham monkey forest and gardens, modern shopping venues, and beautiful cycling routes along the canals. We are very close to the Peak District which offers outstanding natural beauty and lovely quirky villages to explore. Outdoor activities including paragliding, hiking, and cycling abound here.
