About us

We are a RCVS accredited, two-site primary care practice that is based in the locations of Guilford and Hazelmere. We provide the highest standard of veterinary care for small animals in a friendly and professional environment. Our practices are continuously being updated to ensure that our pets are being cared for in the best way possible, through our facilities and caring team.

We have recently moved into our new purpose built hospital and we are super excited about what the future holds.  Come and join us, be part of this new adventure.

Located within walking distance of amenities including a spa and gym as well as convenient coffee shop and grocery store, we can offer great facilities outside the hospital as well as inside.

We offer orthopaedic surgeries and also have Vets within the team who have a strong interest in exotic patients. This means we will have a radiography suite and an exotic ward built in the new hospital.

Our new hospital is a dream come true for the team and we are so excited and hoping we will have some new team members to join us on this new journey and make this your new forever home.

Your role and responsibilities

Due to our expansion, we require a Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse (Lead RVN) to join us on ideally a full-time basis with a 1:5 weekend rota. Our shifts range from 08am – 5pm or 10:30am – 7:30pm.  Now based in our new hospital, we intend to keep these hours the same but can be flexible.

Primarily focused on Theatre, you will lead the nursing team within this discipline to drive high standards of nursing and patient care.

Working closely alongside the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) you will look to ensure patients are managed effectively from a nursing perspective and support the growth and success of the practice.  Working collaboratively to identify areas of training and development within the nursing team.

We are a passionate, close-knit team and we are keen to welcome you into our family.

Developing and empowering our nurses is important to us.  You will have access to over 150hours of pre-recorded CPD delivered by our expert clinicians and nurses. All of our nurses receive a robust induction to help you thrive in your new role. On top of this you will have access to modular courses on a variety of topics including our AVA accredited anaesthesia and analgesia modular course.
