The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established Medivet practice in South Elmsall. 

We strive to provide friendly and personal care to our patients and offer a comprehensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities to ensure the highest levels of care are provided to our patients.

We have an excellent team of vets, nurses and receptionists and aim to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and patients. 

Our Veterinary Nurses are also involved in dispensing medication, schedule 3 procedures, Physio therapy clinics and Nurse consults. We are currently seeking a candidate who is friendly, passionate and works well within a team.

The role is 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends. A fair share of bank holidays and on call. The hours are 08.30 - 17.00 or 11.00 - 19.30. Part time hours will also be considered or 4 day working week.

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address. 

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary nurse with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

 

 

Key accountabilities:

Ideally a clinical coach or you would like to become one.

You must be registered with the RCVS.

 

Branch:

Medivet South Elmsall is equipped with the latest technology, including ECG, In-house lab, ultrasound, orthopaedic and operating theatre. As well as our in-house services at Medivet South Elmsall, you’ll also get access to all the services available at the 24 hour Dearne Valley hospital, including state-of-the-art mobile MRI and an excellent suite of imaging facilities with full body CT scanner.

Our South Elmsall branch is led by Lead Vet Jevan, who works alongside a truly supportive team consisting of 2 vets, Head RVN, RVN, 2 Student Nurses, 2 Client Care Assistants.
