We're looking for an experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our friendly and forward-thinking team at Leamington Spa Vets4Pets!
You'll become part of a vibrant team who strive towards delivering gold standard care to their clients and patients.


You will be working closely with our Client Care Manager to provide leadership to our clinical team, with a commitment to promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence. We are looking for a confident and capable leader with excellent communication skills. Duties will include managing the day-to-day running of the clinical areas, delegation, and oversight of areas of responsibility within the nursing team, induction of new staff members, regular ‘check-ins', one to ones and annual appraisals, monthly rotas and other administrative duties associated with the role. 


The surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards. Well equipped with an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. the practice includes 3 consult rooms, one operating theatre, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound) and comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment. Separate dog ward, cat ward and an isolation ward.


Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire with great links to the M40 (5 miles) A46 (4 miles) and the M45 (11 miles). The train station is also ideally located within a half a mile from the surgery making it easily accessible. To reach other practices, Stratford Upon Avon is 13 miles and Coventry is 12 miles.


The ideal Nurse for us will be a great team player with high standards of care and experience, along with excellent leadership skills to encourage and develop our nursing team to fulfil their full potential. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week. There are no OOH duties, with 1 in 4 weekends
