The Role

We are looking for 1 full time Registered Veterinary Nurse on a permenant basis and 1 full time Registered Veterinary Nurse on a fixed term basis to join our progressive and cohesive team. The role will be 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early and late shifts, Mon-Fri and a minimum of 1:4 Saturday mornings. No out of hours, Sundays or Bank Holidays. We are happy to consider part time applications. You will have varied responsibilities including, Inpatients, Ops, GAs, Lab, X-ray, Consultations, Pharmacy, Equipment care and supporting other team members to keep every day varied.

The role would be an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to build experience for a future Senior/Head Veterinary Nurse role.

Salary

Salary for the role is up to £29,000 per annum depending on experience.

About Us

We are a friendly, small animal practice based in Virginia Water, Surrey. We have excellent transport links to London and beautiful local woodland. Our practice is excellent equipped with digital x-ray, operating facilities, capnograph, BP, ECG, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, lab with much used microscope and more. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and patients and from this have a great local reputation and loyal clients.

We have 3 CDs leading our clinical team and working as the Vets in practice, 3 RVNs and a support staff made up of 1 ANA soon to be SVN, 3 Receptionists and 1 Clinical Administrator.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (some Schedule 3) and have some experience in small animal general practice. Willingness to get involved with development of practice protocols, improving clinical standards and patient care is essential. Clinical Coach or willingness to train advantageous.
