Branch:

Medivet West Byfleet is a genuinely wonderful place to work.  Here are the things that make it a fantastic clinic to be a part of:

The team A brilliant head RVN with lots of experience, who leads a team of extremely able and supportive nurses.  And, not to blow my own trumpet, but I'm a  competent vet and I'm good at coaching (so I've been told!).  We work hard but get on really well, and always help each other out with all manner of jobs.

The clients  Surrey is home to some really lovely people, who are incredibly dedicated to their pets and are friendly, appreciative and collaborative when discussing their beloved pets.

The facilities  A great-quality x-ray machine, specialist dental radiography, ultrasound, well-equipped theatre, in-house lab and two spacious consulting rooms.

Easy access to other specialties  If a case gets more complex, we hardly ever need to refer externally because of the impressive network of certificate holders within Medivet - not to mention availability of CT and MRI, radioactive iodine treatment, specialist exotics surgeons and pioneering orthopaedic surgery.

Work-life balance No matter how busy we get (and we are kept occupied with a good caseload!) we make sure we all get the rest and breaks we need, and make sure to have fun too!

Learning opportunities  We will actively support and encourage the development of your clinical skills and knowledge, whether that be through CPD courses or embarking on a certificate.

Location Surrey is beautiful, and West Byfleet station is just round the corner from the clinic - and takes you directly into London Waterloo.  We benefit from our own generously sized car park and have lots of local amenities close by for a good range of coffee and lunch options.

A little about me I'm the head vet and branch partner of the clinic.  I graduated from Cambridge in 2015 and became partner here in 2017.  I'm passionate about delivering gold standard veterinary care to every patient, and am particularly keen on practicing exceptionally good veterinary dentistry.  I've done lots of CPD in a wide range of areas and my next clinical project will be to develop my ultrasonography skills (with our brand new ultrasound machine!).  I recently came back from maternity leave myself (I had my little boy during the very first lockdown), and in my spare time love spending time with my family and doing yoga and cooking.

We also have a fantastic assistant Vet Zuzanna, who is currently on maternity leave. She has been with us 3 years + and particularly enjoys internal medicine. In her spare time, Zuzanna loves getting out into nature, knitting and hanging out with her adorable little dog.

If you would be interested in joining a well organised and fun clinic, please reach out. We would be happy to answer any questions.
