The role:

We are seeking Mobile Veterinary Surgeons to support our practices in the Faygate region!

Our mobile role offers great flexibility and gives an excellent opportunity to be part of a close knit network of friendly vets, nurses and support staff. You will have an interesting and varied caseload and will work at our practices located in the Crawley/West Sussex area. There is easy access to Gatwick airport and the area is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' UK small animal experience (or UK equivalent) and will have a client orientated approach with excellent communication skills. You will be supported and encouraged to work to high medical and surgical standards. 

The role offers a good work life balance with a 4 day working week, however applicants wanting a part time role will absolutely be considered. There are good opportunities for career progression within the region.

This is a full time position, covering 40 hours a week. Shifts will be scheduled for 9am-7pm or 8.30am-6.30pm.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

You should have at least 6 months' UK (or UK equivalent) experience.

You should be confident working sole charge.

Branch:

Medivet Faygate is a 24-hour practice with the state of the art technology including CT Scanner, Ultrasound, digital x-ray, orthopaedic, cardiology and also includes a hydrotherapy pool. The practice is located a 16-minute drive from Gatwick and is also a short distance from the rail links to London. The successful candidate will be joining a large team of 6-day vets, 2-night vets and 25 support staff who hold a variety of certificates and specialties including exotics, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, radiology, rehabilitation, surgery, ultrasound. Faygate is a unique practice as it has its own wallabies in their garden! The practice also has PSS and ESC hospital awards.

Your role will be based at Medivet 24 Hour Faygate and will support this practice alongside the other practices in the Faygate region, which include Brockham, Dorking, Forrest Row, Gossops Green, Horley, Newdigate, Northgate and Three Bridges.
