Veterinary Surgeon careers that put you first
Vets4Pets champions the wellbeing of our employees. We’ve dedicated time to listen to our vets and nurses, because recognising the pressure of these roles is vital. Not only in providing the best possible treatment for pets, but for the welfare of our people and the future of our industry. We’ve started by training over 400 mental health first aiders so that each practice can develop a real support network, while we focus on creating positive workplaces where our people can thrive.
As the Vets4Pets business expands, we’re looking for enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeons to join local practices across our UK-wide network.
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, working in a purpose-built clinic with state-of-the-art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. Seeing a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, you’ll be encouraged to provide case continuity by following up your own cases.
A confident and experienced surgeon, you’ll use your knowledge and empathy to build strong professional relationships. With strong organisational and inter-personal skills, you’ll take part in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives so that you can help build on your team’s success.
While you’re providing exceptional care for pets, we’ll be here for you. With a forward-thinking approach to our people’s wellbeing, we offer a range of support and flexibility initiatives to help you stay at your best.
We’ll enable you to keep growing your expertise, too. As well as supporting your professional progression with a CPD allowance and allocated leave, we support postgraduate study if you want to explore new specialisms. We also provide extra training that empowers you to be at your best in your day-to-day role.
We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. Our generous Total Reward Package also includes life assurance and income protection insurance, discounts on pet products and care, and private healthcare options for you and your non-furry family.
There are lots of ways you can thrive here. Contact us through Vet Careers Registration (vets4petscareers.com) and we’ll help you find the right practice for you.
