Job Details
The role:
We are currently seeking a medicine certificate holder- A veterinary Surgeon or a vet who aspires to become one to join our friendly and supportive team at Faygate 24-hour centre, to compliment our other certificate holders in surgery, cardiology, and exotics.
You will be the medical lead for the hospital and Faygate area. You will receive medical referrals from your colleagues in the hospital and our friendly vets in Medivet practices in the area.
You will be comfortable taking the lead on in-patient care and work-up medical cases to certificate holder level. You will be interested in assisting your colleagues with medical cases and furthering the team's medical knowledge. You will work with the You will play an integral part in the development of our junior colleagues.
Salary and package:
This role is full time comprising of a 4-day working week and weekend work is one in every 6 weekends.
- - Part-time/flexi-time will also be considered
- - Salary Package up to £60,000 D.O.E
- - £1500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave
- - VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
- - 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays

The Branch
Faygate 24-hour has facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, laparoscopy, and a CT.
The hospital sees a varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and vets training on our Graduate Development Programme. The practice is a 24-hour Hospital and is the main centre in the region.
