Medivet is currently looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon
This is a great caseload and a very supportive nursing team, with a nurse who runs regular clinics.
You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS. Ideally, you will have at least 1-2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) veterinary experience.
The successful candidate will work 40 hours a week over 4 days, plus a 1 in 5 weekend on call rota. An interest in exotic animals is useful, but experience is not essential as we are happy to teach!

Medivet Maidstone, formerly Alphabet Veterinary Centre, is based within close proximity of Maidstone town centre. The practice offers a range of services to its patients, including ultrasound, x-rays and microchipping. It is supported by other practices in the Cranbrook region (including our practices in Cranbrook, Bearsted and Faversham) and has access to emergency and critical care.
This practice is a 10-minute walk from Maidstone East station (based in the town centre) and is close to the M20 and M2 motorways. You can also find the Vinters Park Nature Reserve, Mote Park and River Medway within a commutable distance.
