About Us

Located at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Avenue Veterinary Centre is in a traditional setting that has been updated to meet the needs of a modern Veterinary Practice in 2022. Being close to the M5 means we have excellent transport links to Wales, Cotswolds, and great train services to Birmingham and London, but also have the stunning countryside on our doorstep. We are a friendly sociable practice with a long-standing and rapidly expanding client base! A high proportion of our clients are insured, patients. We have a large garden for exercising dogs and relaxing during breaks. We have kennels exclusively for staff dogs so you can bring your dogs to work, and accommodation is available if required. Our fantastic facilities include digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, laser, in house blood machines, ECG, Multiparameter Anaesthetic Monitoring, Oxygen Kennels, and Isolation Kennel.

About the Team and Culture

We currently have 6 vets (soon to be 7) working a mixture of FT and PT. Currently, we have 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, but this will increase to 6 RVN’s when our 2 nurses on Maternity return, we have 1 Animal Nursing Assistant and groomer. Our support function is made up of 4 Receptionists, 1 Practice Manager and 1 administrative nurse (ie insurance forms etc so to reduce administration performed by our clinical team). The candidate will fit in with our team at all levels of everyday practice and will have many opportunities to progress with a certificate, that is both encouraged and funded. We work closely with both national and local charities (the latter we help with fundraising and promotion). One major practice rule we have is Cakes for all Birthdays! We hope you are ready to show off your baking skills!
