Job Details
Medivet Birstall 24-hour is currently seeking a confident Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team Night team.
You will be involved in all aspects of nursing. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practices with your team.
You will be working 42 hours per week, in a 5 nights on 5 nights off pattern

Skills and experience:
Essential Attributes:
- - RCVS registration
- - English language skills

- - Proven ability to communicate effectively
- - Proven empathy with patients and clients
- - Demonstrate initiative in patient welfare
- - Understand duties that may and may not be undertaken by PCAs or student nurses

Branch:
Medivet Birstall is one of our 24-hour practices which is open 365 days a year. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including ECG, In-house laboratory, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dentistry equipment, and Ultrasound. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of day and night staff. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and Vets training on our Graduate Support Programme.
The practice is located just off the A6 and is a short distance from the A46, A607, and on-site parking for staff and customers. The practice is opposite a parade of shops with places to eat, supermarkets, cafes, banks, and more all within walking distance.
