The role:

Our well-equipped practice in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of knowledgeable and skilled vets, devoted nurses and lovely support staff.

The ideal candidate will have good medical and surgical skills, with experience or an interest in ultrasonography. We are seeking a Vet with at least 2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.

Salary & Benefits:

- Competitive salary of up to £65K

- £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave and in-house CPD training

- VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid

- 4 day working week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Branch:

Medivet St Ives is situated in the heart of the historic market town, located close to stunning rural attractions and very close to the vibrant City of Cambridge.

Our multi vet practice is led by our experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner who also holds a certificate in surgery. The practice has extensive facilities and equipment including three consult rooms, ultrasound, video endoscopy, new laparoscope, orthopaedic surgical equipment and digital x-ray.
