The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse at Oundle Veterinary Surgery.

Our Nurses have set shifts per day including, ops nurses, consulting nurse, inpatient nurse, and floating nurse. Alongside this the Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse will be expected to support the Head Veterinary Nurse with any required management and administration tasks. The working days/hours can be flexible. The Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse will be expected to coordinate and ensure the day runs smoothly alongside the other managers at Oundle Vets.

About the Team and Culture
Oundle Vets is a progressive SA first opinion practice with up-to-date technology. It is part of a 5-site group called Sampson Park Group so there's a brilliant opportunity for learning and delivers an excellent support network for growth and development. Our team is currently made up of 4/5 vets, 5/6 nurses and full reception cover. Referral site within the group (Byre Vets) where we regularly see orthopaedic/dental/ophthalmology/physio referrals. We pride ourselves on our wellbeing initiatives and team engagement.

Applicant Requirements
The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. They would ideally possess some previous coaching and managerial experience, but we welcome candidates who are wanting to progress into a leadership type role. We are looking for a well organised and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse.
