We are a group of small animal primary care practices based in leafy northwest London, who have been established within the local area for over 40 years. When clients bring their animals into our practices, we aim to make sure our services are up to the highest standard to make it as pleasant as possible for their pets. We pride ourselves on our experience, expertise, and the continuous care that we provide for all our patients.
Your role and responsibilities
Blythwood Vets have a new position for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us full time. This role is responsible for delivering clinical care to the practice’s patients and client care to their owners. This includes making all interactions with clients fully focused on delivering value, exceptional service and bringing warmth to the clients.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside our highly experienced nurse team!
Rota is 35-42 hours a week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 weekends.
You will be working in multi vet sites but must be capable of sole charge consulting (and sole charge operating if required though there will normally be other Vets operating at the same time).
Three of your colleagues hold Certificates in Medicine and others are working towards Cardiology and Feline Medicine.
The practices are 100% small animal with 8 Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and 15 client care/support staff. We are a high-end first opinion group with a large proportion of insured clients. Our practices have digital x-rays, dental x-rays, ultrasound machines with colour flow doppler.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle would most likely be required as you will have the opportunity to work between a branch surgery and one of the main surgeries. Onsite parking is available.
