Job Details

We are increasing our team of RVNs to meet clinical demand and a new way of working to offer around the clock care to pets.

Working days and 1-in-8 weekends as part of our dedicated day team, the successful candidate will be a high-calibre, enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse and will work to a high standard, enabling us to continue raising the bar with our patients and the expectations of our clients. They will be proficient at working individually and as part of a caring team. We would also invite any Student Veterinary Nurses who have finished their NPL and are waiting to sit their OSCEs to apply for this position.

We are friendly, engaged, client experience-focused and pride ourselves on providing our own 24 hour care.

We believe in clinical freedom, offering a platform to grow and develop and that true animal healthcare should not be target driven.

A good work-life balance is incredibly important to us, and to reflect this, we have fully-time and part-time positions available.
Overnight out-of-Hours is not a rountine part of this position, but may be required to cover any sickness.

Our vibrant team make us what we are, and we love what we do, be that working together or socialising.

Options available for us to pay outstanding training costs with your current employer.

Company

We opened our doors in 2004 when Jim Wallace had a view of offering high quality total independent veterinary healthcare for your pets at an affordable price. Over the years this ethos has helped us grow into a thriving seven Vet practice.

Being an independent practice means we’re not accountable to a head office or to investors and shareholders, and we’re not given financial targets to meet.

It gives us the ability to be flexible and tailor our treatments and services to the individual. It allows our Vets to have full autonomy to use their experience and professional training to design specific treatment plans and gives them access to everything they need to try and achieve the best possible outcome when caring for your pets.

In 2013 the practice was bought over by Niall Morton, after joining the team in 2010. Jim is working alongside us, so operationally it’s business as normal and our values still hold true; aiming to offer a high level service at an affordable price with your pets being our number one priority, at the heart of everything we do.

Since taking over Niall has invest heavily in staff, state-of-the-art equipment and expanding into new practices so we can further our reach across Dundee and Angus.

We’ve increased our ability and efficiency at testing and examining in-house with Digital X-Ray systems, Ultrasound and equipment for conducting full biochemistry and haematology blood tests.

We’re currently investing massively in our nursing staff with a range of in-house training from our Head Nurses, whilst offering the opportunity to enrolling in college to achieve a full Diploma Nursing Qualification. Our Vets are also supported with our commitment to help them learn and develop
