A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vet to join our friendly team in our Peterborough Welland Road practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of knowledgeable and skilled vets, devoted nurses, and lovely support staff.
The ideal candidate will have good medical and surgical skills and a client-oriented approach. Interest in internal medicine, imaging, or surgery is fully encouraged and certificates are funded for the right candidate. We are seeking a Vet with at least 2 years of UK small animal practice experience.
This role works to a 4-day week (part-time options available) with a share of weekends. There are no on-call or out-of-hours duties in this role. You will be working in a team of another 2 vets and 7 support staff.
Our practice is well equipped, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, video endoscopy, orthopedic surgical equipment, multiparametric monitors, and a full lab including a microscope, hematology, and biochemistry analyser.

Skills and experience:
You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience. Full progression to a certificate or specialism can be catered for, or if you are part way through further qualifications.
Our Medivet Peterborough Welland Road practice has a loyal and friendly client base and we see a varied caseload. Our team delivers exceptional care to clients and patients, from routine vaccinations to surgery and emergency treatment.
We offer on-site parking, a spacious reception, 3 consult rooms, ample theatre, dental area, imaging room, prep-room, theatre and a comfortable staff room area, and a lovely garden.
Our multi vet practice is led by our experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner who has an interest in diagnostic imaging, surgery, and exotics. We see all small mammals and exotics, including rabbits, reptiles, and birds.
