About us

We are a well-established, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have four 24-hour continuous care hospitals made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike.

Your role and responsibilities

Village Vet Winchmore Hill are expanding their nursing team. This Registered Veterinary Nurse vacancy is an amazing opportunity to work in a large, forward thinking veterinary practice.

You would be joining a team of 5 Vets and 6 RVNS who are very well supported by SVNs, PCAs and a dedicated Client Care team.

We are proud to be able to deliver a very high standard care through the excellent facilities, experienced vet team and on-site overnight inpatient care.

This is a fantastic role for an RVN that thrives in a highly stimulating environment and that would like to fully utilise their nursing skills. You will have exposure to complex cases with our Vets holding certificates in surgery, medicine and ophthalmology.

Nursing duties will consist of caring for medical inpatients, all areas of surgical nursing, including monitoring of anaesthesia, assisting with procedures and nursing patients pre/post op. There is also the ability to run nurse clinics to help develop skills in nutrition, geriatric health, puppy and kitten behaviour.

We are committed to training the next generation of PCAs and RVNs, so a Clinical Coach qualification or an interest in mentoring and teaching would be highly desirable, although full training would be given to those without prior coaching experience.

If you would like to be a part of this friendly and talented team, we would love to hear from RVNs of all levels of experience, as support can be provided to those new to a larger practice environment.
