Galemire Hospital was originally established in 1966 as a general mixed, but mainly large animal, veterinary practice based in a Victorian built human infectious diseases hospital. In 1985 Galemire became a veterinary hospital, and now has state of the art facilities and equipment.  The majority of our work is now of a small animal nature.

We now have two sites in Cumbria, the hospital in Cleator Moor, and our surgery in Workington
