The role:

We are actively recruiting for a RVN to join our Branch in Dover!

Our Dover clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40-43 hours per week (depending on your qualification status). You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Branch:

Our Dover practice has a wide range of diagnostic, surgical and post-operative services and facilities including ultrasound, orthopaedics and physiotherapy.

With a friendly and experienced team

They also have full indoor and outdoor hospitalisation facilities for all exotic species including vivaria, incubators, aviaries and isolation facilities; as well as accommodation for aquatic species. Many of our vets and nurses are qualified in exotic animal care. Our vet Jeremy has worked with exotic species for over 25 years and is a member of the British Zoological Society (BVZS) and the Association of Avian Veterinarians.
