Job Details
Medivet Peterborough Bretton is an exceptional well equipped multi-vet practice. The branch works to a high level, including laparoscopic bitch spays, full dental suite including dental x-ray, high quality ultrasound including doppler and digital x-ray. In addition the branch has a large array of surgical equipment including TPLO kit and operating microscope and full ophthalmology diagnostic tools. Our vets have a keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and have a fully equipped orthopaedic theatre. The team is led by our knowledgeable Lead Veterinary Surgeon Pedro who holds a BSAVA's Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and highly competent both medically and surgically. A certificate holder in internal medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology or dermatology would be an advantage or progression to or support of an existing certificate qualification would be actively encouraged.
Salary & Benefits:
-Very competitive salary
-£7,800 accommodation allowance per annum
-Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum
-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum
-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum
-4 day week plus weekend rota.
