About Us

We have a state of the art veterinary clinic with a dedicated team of animal staff, part time vet and vet nurse. Our animals include dogs, cats, small furries and wildlife. The role is none public facing, no weekend or OOH hours and it’s an opportunity to work closely with the RSPCA Inspectorate.

The Role

We are looking for a second vet to join our current veterinary team and carry out health assessments, minor ops, dentals, castrations/speys etc.

Successful Candidate

We are passionate about giving all of our animals a second chance to find their forever homes or be released back into the wild and we are therefore looking for a compassionate veterinary surgeon who is able to take the good days with the bad, with experience across a broad range of species.

The Package

• Permanent part time/full time role based at The RSPCA Stubbington Ark Animal Centre, Fareham, Hampshire - Minimum of 3 days per week (to be confirmed) 6 hours per day
• Salary of £25.64 per hour
• Paid membership/insurance to VDS and RCVS
• Annual CPD allowance of £1,000
• 28-day holidays (including bank holidays)
• Non public facing role (treating our own on-site animals only)
• Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
• No OOH cover required
