Consulting Registered Veterinary Nurse- Full-Time or Part-Time

About us

We are a British Small Animal Veterinary Association approved practice and an Approved Training Centre, certified by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

St Clair Vets is a progressive, well-equipped practice in Kirkcaldy that’s been at the very heart of our local community for many years. We take pride in providing a caring, compassionate, and friendly service to all our clients and their precious pets. With parking available and easy access to public transport, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy practice.

We are also close to Edinburgh, with great transport links to the city.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a client facing Registered Veterinary Nurse with a desire to grow and develop our nurse consultations service. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week to include one in four Saturdays, although we would consider a part-time position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work alongside an established team who appreciate the value this role would bring to the patient and client journey.

Alongside delivering an existing consultation service we are looking for a candidate who will be able to grow and develop our range of nurse clinics in a dedicated nurse consulting room.

There will be the opportunity to maintain nursing competency in all areas of the practice, with allocated shifts in wards, theatre, radiography, and lab.

We offer a varied caseload and areas of interest are encouraged and supported. CPD is provided in-house and externally and as a training practice the willingness to support student training is important.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an RVN to join our friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic nursing team. You will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and work well in a large team.
