Job Details
The Role:
Medivet Oxford Iffley Road, formerly known as Iffley Veterinary Surgery; is a well-functioning practice established 75 years ago. The team at Medivet Oxford Iffley Road, consists of 3 experienced Veterinary Surgeons and a large nursing and reception team. The practice offers a personal approach to patient and client care alongside onsite access to ultrasound and digital x-ray imaging, laboratory diagnostics and endoscopy.
Furthermore, the branch is just a 20 minute drive from our 24 Hr Hospital in Woodstock; offering convenient access to orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries and 24hour onsite care.
The practice is located in the East Oxfordshire area in a vibrant and exciting central location of Oxford City. Public transport is easily accessible alongside onsite parking available for both colleagues and clients.
Flexibility of hours is offered for this position. A Full time role would require a 40 hour week inclusive of minimal OOHs work which will either be at an arrangement of time back or salary.

Key Accountabilities:
We are looking for a friendly and supportive Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team based at our Iffley branch.
The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care and be willing to provide valuable peer support to colleagues if needed. Previous Head Nurse experience is preferred but not essential. We will offer a network of Head Nurses within the region to develop skills and support progression in the role.
