The role:

We are looking for a vet to come and join our team at Medivet 24 Hour Alder. The ideal candidate would like to focus their time on consulting and who prioritises providing a high-quality primary care service focusing on exceptional patient care and building client relationships.

We see this as a key role within the practice to support our patients with a varied amount of routine and non-routine cases. Our appointments are 15 minutes in duration, the practice consulting hours are between 9 am and 7 pm. We have multiple slots per day allocated for urgent appointments to avoid overbooking. Vets have one hour of administrative time per day to prioritise communications with clients, referrals, and interpretation of results.

You will work alongside a large team of vets, nurses, and support staff with a vast amount of skills and knowledge. We encourage nurse consultations and these are available Monday to Friday.  The skillset of the team onsite also enables the fantastic cases to follow up and you are able to retain control of a high number of cases from start to finish, increasing the satisfaction in your role and once again improving client relationships.

This position is a 4 day week with 1 in 6 full weekends at the hospital. However we could encourage applicants who are looking for flexible working options, please contact to discuss this and any questions you may have.
